Roughly five years ago, Waukesha-based Kinex Medical committed itself to investing in and developing technology for internet-connected medical devices.
The orthopedic medical equipment company’s roots were grounded in the distribution of total joint replacements and continuous passive motion devices for surgery and rehabilitation, but as the rehab industry began to shift from in-hospital therapy to in-home therapy and recovery, the company sought a means to grow in a changing market.
